Darksiders II Soundtrack Preview Event
VOG is excited to announce a track preview event during the August 19th episodes of The Bobby Blackwolf Show and Orange Lounge Radio in conjunction with the new release of the Darksiders II Original Soundtrack composed by Jesper Kyd, and released by Sumthing Else Music Works!
Jesper Kyd's works are well known to gamers around the world, as he has worked on the franchises of Hitman, Assassin's Creed, and Borderlands. In Darksiders II, he paints an aural picture that represents Death, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, as he travels through various light and dark realms to redeem his brother War. Kyd's score goes from fantasy sounding harps, strings, and vocal solos, to a more industrial sounding techno percussion overlaying traditional Taiko drums, and back again - all across a massive 2-CD set.
During the midpoint breaks of the August 19th episodes of The Bobby Blackwolf Show and Orange Lounge Radio, a unique track will be played on both the live stream AND to the podcast audiences, courtesy of Sumthing Else Music Works. Also, the two tracks previewed will be entered into the 24/7 rotation of VOG Network Radio following tonight's live broadcasts!
If you like what you hear, the 2-disc album is available at retail as well as on Amazon and for digital download on Amazon MP3, iTunes, and many others:
