Great Question
How are the Alienware steam machine going to be marketed seeing the recent launch of the new home consoles (Xbox One, PS4) starting at $399?

ANSWER
This is a value question. You're getting access to a ton of great games for much lower prices, plus you aren't paying a premium for something like Xbox Live. You can get a premium gaming pc in your living room that can get GTA for $18 right now - try doing that on your $400 console.

Great Question
I know a couple of people that grew up in Sarajevo during the Bosnian War and I instantly thought of their stories when I heard about This War of Mine. Was there a specific (or even general) real life inspiration for this game, and if so, what was it?

ANSWER
There was an article called "One Year in Hell" about Sarajevo that was the initial inspiration for the idea. They tried to reach out to the author and could not find him, so the article might be fake. However, they read other accounts from other wars and determined that even if the article itself was fake, it was an accurate representation of civilian life in an occupied zone.

Good Question
Very interested in what actual gameplay footage of This War of Mine looks like after watching the trailer. Is it a point-and-click style adventure game or a more traditional third or first person action game? For some reason I'm imagining Papers Please meets The Walking Dead by Telltale.

ANSWER
I can't take a picture, but screenshots will be floating around. It is a side view of a house and you click on context sensitive actions. The animation is very fluid, and not pixel art. They did take design inspiration from Papers Please, and spoke very highly of it. Its coming to PC first but they are bringing it to mobile afterwards since they are successful mobile developers already. There will be no DLC on any platform - pay once and get the full experience.

E3 2014 is over. See you next time!
