Something tells me that I'm not the only one on here who plays New Leaf. So I figured I'd make this thread to discuss our town's happenings, wanting to get rid of / add new townsfolk, discuss turnip prices, that sort of thing.
Go nuts, people.

I'm getting bored with it. It's beginning to feel like an "obligation" and "work" now.
The previous games did the same thing to me, so it wasn't unexpected. I've just hit that wall where now it's monotonous waiting for something new to happen.

I have gotten any turnips... at all. I think I haven't been playing the game at the fullest either >_>
But still, I manage to just do stuff and let the completionist in me enjoy the game. Anyways, I'll try to make a list of the things I have duplicates of and well either sell them for Bells or just gift them out to people.

I'm practically done with the game, I got 100% approval rating for my town and upgraded my house all the way from all the grinding from visiting the island.
Not much of a materialist or collector so just chilling in my town anytime I get the chance when on the go or nothing to do while listening to podcasts.
I also got the Beautiful Town ordinance so the villagers practically take care of the town for me.
As for town folk coming and leaving; I treat it as real life. People come and leave as they please and chat with people if they're within the vicinity. I don't put much effort in building long lasting friendships or totally ignoring people till they no longer hang around
Turnip prices; not much into the stock market
All I care about now is checking out special events posted on the bulletin board...yep I'm set for life in animal crossing
If I wanted I can start a new save file and totally ruin the town by chopping down trees and ignoring all the city folk mahahahaha
