With the recent release of Mario Kart 8, I decided to make a Launch tournament for VOG. I have no clue how this works.
It starts now and runs until next Sunday. Here's the code: 4844-9158-5238
We might do a one-time tournament and stream it at some point once I figure out how this works.

I still have to unlock the rest of the cups, but I'll likely join this tournament (and edit this post) soon as I'm done with all that (on 50cc it's been pretty easy so it shouldn't be long  ) _________________ OLRmy since 6/23/2002! actually I'll make a new post saying when I joined it said it was currently closed, but I can still play practice matches. wasn't sure if I should be concerned, but I did join though.

I wonder if we all have to be online at the same time for it to work? Maybe tonight we can do some races for those who have joined.

The VOG room is scheduled from 6/1 to 6/2, so it's closed.
The time can be rescheduled by pressing the + button in the room menu. (The one that says "Join", "View Standings", etc.)
