The Warcraft movie finally has a director and it will be directed by Duncan Jones, His previous films were Moon and Source Code. http://www.tracking-board.com/tb-exclus ... -warcraft/ There's update on this news in which Warner Bros is interested in getting Johnny Depp to star in it. For me, Johnny Depp has lost any appeal he once had. I think any acting skills I once appreciated have been completely overshadowed by the ridiculous makeup and costumes his characters seem to be increasingly hidden behind with each movie he makes now. I guess I just don't understand why he always has to look so stupid. I know it has to do with the types of movies he's always making, because they are often big budget fantasy/adventure movies, but it does seem over the top even for that. That being said, I can't imagine he won't be wearing a ridiculous costume/makeup combo standing in front of a green screen yet again, so I guess this is perfect for him. From a business standpoint, I totally see why the studio wants him. Every big budget movie he's been in lately has been a huge worldwide hit. Even movies that seemingly don't do well in the US, like Dark Shadows, do insane numbers overseas. So if Warner Bros can get him to star in this, you can guarantee this movie will get made and will probably make a ton of money too. |

The question now would be, Would his character be Alliance or Horde. The WoW community will certainly debate that. |
