Post subject:  What are you reading?
I noticed we had a 'What are you playing?' in the Video Game section but not a 'What are your reading?' section. So post here what you're reading and your impressions of it.

Lately my girlfriend has been getting me into graphic novels because he is in a few graphic novel book clubs. I've been borrowing a few books she's already read.

She lent me this series a long time ago and i've really dug it.


Locke and Key.

The series is written by Stephen Kings son Joe Hill (pen name) and drawn by Gabriel Rodriguez. I have not read/seen anything from either person but i am really into this series... Its very dark and psychological and keeps you reading... Its very similar to Stephen Kings style so it wasn't a surprise when i found out he (Hill) was Kings son...

Definitely give is a try.

When I have time, I'm trying to keep up with the AvX books and am still hooked on New Mutants and New Avengers. JESSICA JONES, YO.

I've been completely enthralled by the relaunched Batwoman series. If you haven't checked it out yet, do yourself a favor and get it. I think the most recent issue is at #10 or so. But you should first get the Elegy miniseries trade paperback, it's great. JH Williams artwork is really unbelievable!

Grown up life has pretty much killed comic-books as a pastime for me. In the past I was a big Marvel fan right now though I'm down to two DC books only one of which is actually DCU. I've been reading DC's He-Man and the Masters of the Universe for the past year and I just started following The New Suicide Squad. If time and money weren't an issue I'd probably be reading a lot more.

Over the past year my reading list has now expanded to four books. In addition to He-Man and Suicide Squad I'm now reading Jem & the Holograms and Ms. Marvel.

Batwoman series is really good to read :)
