An article has now been posted on the main site - Introduction to VOG: The Game - which attempts to explain the what and why of what we're going to be experimenting with over the coming weeks and months with the site. It's very rough and in the early beta stages right now, but I think there's a lot of potential here. Let me know if there's anything you can think of that would ACTUALLY work as a point-scoring or loot-earning opportunity on the site. (Key word there is actually...You are all a snarky bunch, and I've already thought of those witty jokes you've got going on in your head.)

what about a 'paper doll'-like avatar system (where everyone has their base avatar, and as you unlock loot it'll change your character's appearance, like maybe a cool suit of armor or a flaming sword, something cool like that?

hey Bobby i was wondering if i could hand draw swords? im not good at graphic art. or could i maybe find swords online and send the graphic to you? thanks!

Sure thing! You can send a couple ideas, including ones you find online (as long as they're not requiring license fees or copyrights) and I can pick the ones that work the best. Right now just looking for swords to act as loot, we'll address doing any avatar things later...
