Loved Grandpa's voicemail message even if it was a bit overlong.

As far as my Rayman Legends question, I guess I still want to know your opinion on whether you think it would have done better had it been released when it was ready for Wii U and not delayed until September so it could launch on the other platforms as well.

Do you think the holiday push will drive up sales more than coming out earlier in the year, but with no competition and before burning some fans by announcing multi-platform?

Oops, I guess we were all over the map on e-mail responses but you know how the tangent train goes.

Honestly, I think the "burnt fans" is an extreme minority (vocal, but extremely minor for the audience of a Rayman game).

I think you are right in that there is way too much competition this time of year, and many games get lost in the shuffle. It always kind of amazed me that games don't have a more regular release schedule, like movies! Sure there's a couple months when all the stinkers come out, but for the most part you get some big releases all year round. You'd think we have more big summer games with kids being out of school and all, Rayman would have been a great summer title.

I think the more optimal thing to have done would have been to release the game on Wii-U as intended, and then release the other platforms later on with THOSE releases getting either A) Additional Enhancements or B) Budget pricing to make up for losses from Wii-U.

The jury is still out though. There's a few more months until Christmas. It will be interesting to see what week-to-week numbers look like.
