Aww, two VOG shows in a row that Shane hates on Silent Hill Downpour. I get that it isn't Silent Hill 2, but it wasn't bad. I had a lot of fun playing (played through twice to see all the endings) and it had plenty of good scares and a decent story. Even had friends over to watch and after getting through the slow first hour they were all into it as well.

I do understand the hate for Book of Memories without even playing it though, because Silent Hill is not an action/dungeon crawler game. Plus, that stuff about picking up quests to go to the store sounds ridiculous.

I can't help the Downpour hate. I see the potential in it, but - like all recent SH games - they just somehow screw it up really bad. It does get props for not having Pyramid Head in it, though.

Fair enough. Even if you really aren't interested in the game as a whole, you should at least watch the "Surprise" ending on YouTube. It's hilarious.

Thanks for answering my question about the dailies. I enjoy doing daily quests, so I don't think it's going to bug me too much, but I was interested in which were less annoying so that was some good advice.
