Props to a teriffic guest and great answers to my email. Shane's first answer got me thinking. What if for 5000 gold, or whatever Blizz would think it was worth, you could bestow your profession levels onto another character on your account? I think that would be a cool way to implement Shane's idea without just sharing them with all characters.

Also I wouldn't really use fans of Horde House to gauge the user base and its desire to PvP. It's pretty clear despite Rob's occasional dabbling that PvP is not something that is discussed very often on the show, so I doubt many PvPers even listen. As far as I know PvP servers are still extremely popular. They have not gone the way of the RP server.

Wait did Shane get Rob hooked on another game series (Pokemon)? This would be a few games now...

As a real test, Shane should try to get Rob hooked on a sports game like Madden or FIFA... :P

Shane and I used to test Winning Eleven soccer at Konami and that was a pretty good game. Maybe he could get Rob hooked on that.
