Horde House

Episode 102: Azeroth to Mouth

Our most favorite Dutchie, Sil from Girls Gone WoW joins us this week to dish on the latest in Warcraft. Leave it to the dutch to contribute to an episode so explicit, even the hosts start blushing. Wait, is Shane blushing or is he just sunburnt?

Anyway, we have updates this week on Blizzcon. Are the tickets too expensive, or is this an experience that can’t be missed? A web browser is coming to the game, but will it be worth it when it won’t connect to Xtube? PvP changes and Raid bugs round out our news segment this week.

We pick some contest winners from Episode 100 and read some pretty amazing e-mails this week which… yeah… one of them just has to be heard to be believed. We really wouldn’t blame you if you skipped past it though. Really. Grandpa, be quiet! STAHP!

All this and MORE including tweets, facebook question and live chat comments on the show about ALL things World of Warcraft but NEVER too SRSLY– HORDE HOUSE!

Wow, one of the filthiest show ever, but a great one too. As far as the baby thing goes, yeah you definitely have to strike a balance because the kids are more important than WoW and many other things, which is why we play video games and watch our shows & movies when they are asleep.

My wife is always #1 though. Kids grow up and have their own lives, but you're with your partner for the rest of your life, so they should always be the #1 priority in my opinion.

That is a very fair priority to have as #1, sorry I didn't guess right, I'll try to remember to read this comment on next weeks show because I can't believe I didn't tell the e-mailer that their partner is a far more important priority than WoW as well.

It's honestly something I never thought about until we went through pre-marital counseling, a requirement from the pastor who married us.

He described how couples who focus so much on the kids and put the kids before everything, including their partner, don't realize until the kids are moved out that they've neglected their partner too much. When he put it like that, it was really easy to see how much damage could be done by not giving the person you committed to spend the rest of your life with enough attention for such a large chunk of it (18 years or more) and how hard it can be to fix a relationship at that point.

I would recommend pre-marital counseling for anyone making that kind of commitment. It was something I was very unsure of before doing it, yet so helpful after going through with it.

I would also recommend having Rob MC all the wedding receptions. You were the best!

Anyways, back to our favorite filthy, filthy show. So I was indeed watching Sil's Twitch stream the other day and I couldn't believe the chatters asking her to do anything from showing her boobs to farting in the mic for donations. She took it all in stride, as she mentioned on the show. I did like her one joke where she said "Sure, I'll fart in the mic if you'll pay for a trip to Blizzcon!"

So then I streamed some stuff for the first time the other night, and it was fun, but I had no viewers/chatters. It is amazing the types of things girl gamers have to put up with, eh?
