Horde House
Howdy ya'll and welcome to The Best Little Horde House in Azeroth. Internet radio & podcasting veterans Rob Roberts and Xtofer, and their wine loving friend Grandpa bring you a weekly dose of Azeroth news and updates from an honest yet sometimes sassy perspective. Join us for our antics each week as we invite special guests to pull up a chair with us and poke a little fun at one of our past times.
We are joined tonight by an old friend of the show, Mahale. Mahale talks to us about some games he has been up to lately, which includes lengthy discussions on League of Legends and Marvel Heroes. If you’ve been curious about these games, Mahale breaks it down why he is a fan of each. Also we cover the week in online gaming, including games like World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV and The Division.
All this including the rest of the news, our Facebook question of the week, some teabagging and MORE on the show about ALL things Online gaming, but NEVER too SRSLY– HORDE HOUSE!

Our friend Ghemit from the Let’s WoW Podcast joins us to talk about the Proudmoore Pride festival that occurs in the World of Warcraft this year on June 23rd. Learn how you can participate– and why you should!
Ghemit sticks around to talk with us on all sorts of topics like the Xbox One, Final Fantasy XIV’s beta, Defiance, and the game in Xtofer’s pants!
E3 is happening this week, and there’s plenty of MMO news to come out of the show, including an increased presence on consoles, which we tackle in our Facebook question of the week. During the news segment, we discuss a variety of upcoming MMO’s including Elder Scrolls Online and Final Fantasy 14: Realm Reborn. Not to be left out of the fun, World of Warcraft makes some big announcements regarding the upcoming patch 5.4, which we discuss the pros and cons of.
Blizzard’s big project “Titan” apparently has been delayed, but can you really have feelings attached to a game that we know next to nothing about? At least one Horde House host has an opinion. This opinion and more on games such as Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars one AND two and Diablo 3 round out another news roundtable for the week.
We unveil the big change at Horde House which involves a new tagline– All things Online gaming, but never too seriously. In tonight’s show we touch on not just World of Warcraft, but Final Fantasy XIV, Age of Conan and RIFT.
Surely we have plenty to say on the latest patch for Warcraft however. It’s up, and things are already being hotfixed. What bug did one of our hosts discover that doesn’t even seem to be addressed yet?
The internet is all a twitter about the latest Subscriber numbers for the game. Could there actually be some positives to this news? And what is the potential cause of the subscriber drop– and some potential solutions? Our hosts, including current AND former WoW players, explore the options that Blizzard might have.
Also, some Pandaria Collectors editions have randomly shown up. Buy ‘em before they end up at Big Lots! Also, Diablo 3 players were in for quite a shock when something that wasn’t supposed to happen ever in the game– did.
Are you feeling Gorgeous? Well soon you will be able to show it to the world with a new title… hope you aren’t one of those people that hates all things PVP though! We talk about this new title as well as some highlights (and WHATlights) from Blizz’s recent Q&A
The whole gang is assembled tonight to talk about the week in news as well as hear your answers to a Facebook question that wonders what might happens if the tables were turned in WoW right now with faction leaders.
BlizzCon tickets went on sale the night we taped our show, which caused us to be a bit late for the live audience. More importantly though– which Horde House host got to buy tickets, and which Horde House host will be seeing some of you at Blizzcon? (Hopefully not in a hotel suite, just sayin…)
It’s just Rob, Shane & Grandpa holding down the show tonight, but that doesn’t stop Rob from making some hilarious pronunciation errors while trying to report on the news and read chat comments. Why, he might be able to get a job broadcasting in North Dakota! Anyway, we discuss news such as experience nerfing in patch 5.3. Also, could one battleground be going away soon in Warcraft? Will anyone care if it’s Strand of the Anicents? (Click More... for More)
More info keeps coming on patch 5.3, including information we get into tonight on heroic scenarios and the new reward that will come with them. Also, some PVP changes have some tanks pretty irritated, we discuss that too. (Click More for more...)
Our most favorite Dutchie, Sil from Girls Gone WoW joins us this week to dish on the latest in Warcraft. Leave it to the dutch to contribute to an episode so explicit, even the hosts start blushing. Wait, is Shane blushing or is he just sunburnt?
Anyway, we have updates this week on Blizzcon. Are the tickets too expensive, or is this an experience that can’t be missed? A web browser is coming to the game, but will it be worth it when it won’t connect to Xtube? PvP changes and Raid bugs round out our news segment this week. (Click more... for more)
