We've only been out for a week, but in that time we saw the quick rise and fall of Concord, a PlayStation and Steam title that was pulled from the market in record time. What were the flaws behind this game? Is there any hope for Sony to salvage it? We discuss this and much more including a Nintendo Direct that occurred while we were out, showcasing many interesting and exciting new titles. We finally get Capcom vs. SNK 2 released on modern consoles? Yes we do, hooray! All this and much more on another week of the longest running podcast about video games, Orange Lounge Radio!

This week was Gamescom, and we talk about some of the big announcements from the show. Were we satisfied with what we heard, or were we hoping for a little more? And in one of several infamous OLR tangents, we talk about the launch of a recent game that appears to be tanking, at least on PC. Is there something wrong with the way games are being promoted and pushed? We discuss all this and much more in a week of video game news on another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio

Gamescom is this upcoming week and good news, it's confirmed we are going to see some NEW GAMES. Okay, that probably should have been obvious especially in a year when E3 is officially a relic of the past, but it will be interesting to see how Gamescom shakes up the usual summer game announcement calendar. Also in the news, Steam (whose owner Valve is testing one of the worst kept secrets in gaming right now) announced some policy updates that could change the way reviews and game descriptions work. Does anyone really read the comments anyway? All this and much more make up another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

In breaking news at showtime tonight, Tango Gameworks has a buyer. This move will all but confirm a new Hi-Fi Rush is on the way after all. It's a relief that this game series can live on, but will the employees all be available to return? We discuss this and much more in the news including Roblox being banned in one country. The news, our gaming weeks, the classic game, and much more make up another episode of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

We wish we had better news as we come back from an unexpected sick week off, but the industry continues to downsize, with news of a long running gaming magazine in the US ceasing production suddenly. The horrible language of internal communications has been exposed by the larger gaming media, leaving many of us to again question the competence of so many executives in this industry. The topic comes up yet again- are we headed towards another Video Game Crash? Or are we in one. We discuss this and much more, including SOME positives, like DarkSakura's trip to California Extreme on another episode of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

It was announced that the price of Microsoft Game Pass will be changing. It appears that this week, the FTC has a pretty big problem with this plan, and may be bringing some receipts to the courtroom. Could the government actually re-split a company that's already laid off workers? We discuss this, as well as our thoughts on the many many different tiers of Game Pass out there. All this, our gaming weeks, and much more round out another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

We take some time at the top of the show to remember a friend that left us far too soon. Unfortunately we weren't the only ones to lose a friend close to us, as the accessibility community lost an important advocate as well. A friend calls into OLR to share memories of the impact had, to further the idea and mission that gaming is for everyone. Although we have some difficult moments at the top of the show, we get into the week's worth of news too, which includes recapping headlines from last week in a game of word association. Our family discussions and our whimsy games are just another part of what makes the Orange Lounge Radio experience unique. Come take a listen on what's powered our long running video game podcast for 22 years and counting!

Tonight, we celebrate our 22nd birthday as an internet radio program. Thanks to all of you who have supported us thru the years. We jump right into some gaming news which includes Nintendo dropping a direct on us early this week. They dropped a new Just Dance game in the sizzle reel, as anticipated, but they unleashed some surprises as well, including a new Legend of Zelda 2D inspired title where you play as Zelda. We talk about all this and much more on another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

In a story that reads like these Facebook ads that always show up on our feeds, there's another lawsuit being attempted against Steam. This one is in the UK, and addresses "price parity obligations" on the storefront. Do we think the lawsuit might have a point, or is it destined to end up changing nothing in the industry as other lawsuit attempts have before? We discuss this and much more on a quieter post-non-e3 week edition of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

It is a very busy week in game announcements. Even though E3 is a thing of the past, this time of year still holds many announcement events, including Summer Games Fest, and the Xbox Showcase, both held in the last couple of days showing off many titles coming out for the rest of the year and well beyond. Do the layoffs that have happened in the industry cast a shadow over the events? We talk about this and what we might be looking forward to from the announcements. All this and much more round out another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!
