GamesCom happened this week, and we have much news to wrap up from that event. Earlier this week, however, Nintendo shocked many fans by announcing that Charles Martinet would no longer be providing the voice of Mario in their games, although he would be given a special ambassador role. We talk about why Nintendo might have wanted to make this change, and why they held off on naming the replacement. No, it's not going to be Clive, LOL. All this and much more news make up another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

We talk about what Microsoft is closing access to, but also the surprising amount of ways content will still be available as we kick off tonight's show. We also check in with our co-hosts, as Jamie brings back a wrapup from California Extreme, and LOKI announces his team was selected to participate in the Minecraft Championship Rising competition coming up this weekend! We return live tonight after an unexpected two week break (sorry about that!) to tackle the latest in gaming news. A fan of Wipeout has taken the source code that leaked from the game and turned it into a full version of the game playable in a web browser, daring Sony to take it down but continue the series. Perhaps Sony isn't as litigious as Nintendo, but do we think this game will be much longer for the web? We talk about this and much more on another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

A patch went out for Diablo 4 this week to prepare for the games first season. However, the patch was not well received by fans, causing Blizzard to issue a variety of statements on the why they did the patch as well as future patch approaches. Did the internet make this a much bigger deal than it should have been though? We discuss the fallout from this patch and opinions on the game's direction, which takes a larger chat on the general increase of season play and battlepasses in many of our favorite video games. All this, our gaming weeks, and more, make up another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

There may not be an Electronic Entertainment Expo anymore, but that didn't stop the gaming news from flowing in early June, as we take some time to reflect on the Summer Game Fest and Xbox events from this week. Lots of updates on games, as well as game trailers and release dates, there really is something for everyone. 2023 has been a great year for gaming so far, and we look at the games currently released, such as Diablo 4, and the games we look forward to in the future, like Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth. But seriously... is something going to happen to Tifa? Yikes. All this and more make up another week of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!
