The ESA has officially declared they are done with the E3 brand - something we all knew but they finally admitted to themselves. It's not for the reason you think.
Then we talk to Rob about the demise of E3 and what really caused things to go south in the 2010's.
The official news came out this week that E3 would be no more. Of course, if you've been following the show's updates since the last show happened in 2019, this isn't too much of a surprise. However now the industry can move forward in deciding what's next. What do we speculate will happen next, does a new show pop up to take it's place? Does something existing fill the gap? Is there even a gap to be filled? We discuss this all this and much more on another episode of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!
Join DJ Ranma S, Mako-chan, BerryMelon, Ari Rockefeller, and WildSpice for the 2023 Christmas show! They're taking it easy this year, but we also have some interesting news stories to share! New intentionally ugly anime sweaters from Japan will keep you warm and un-cool this winter, high schools to become free for all families in Tokyo, dozens of idol groups are breaking up due to age, Clarks Shoes teams up for Pokémon shoes, and Shibuya bans outdoor New Years celebrations?!

In a shocking move, it was announced by Sony this week that certain television videos from Warner Bros. / Discovery purchased on Playstation would no longer be available to watch, even by those that had purchased the videos. Somehow this is legal with all of the little text that we don't read before we buy these things. Social Media seems to be blaming the wrong camp for this move though, as we break down our perspective on who is to blame, and how a dangerous precedent like this might send waves thru the gaming industry. We discuss this and much more in another week of gaming news on the show where every gamer has a voice and the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!
