Supergirl
At 24, Kara Zor-El decides the time has come to embrace her superhuman abilities and fulfill her destiny as a hero.
Supergirl ends up seriously injured during an attack on National City by a kryptonite-powered villain; and Superman puts the blame for his cousin getting hurt on Hank, because the kryptonite was stolen from the DEO.
In the Season 2 premiere, Supergirl's famous cousin arrives on the scene to help her deal with a new threat to the citizens of National City.
Supergirl's enemies plot to destroy every person on the planet, and stopping them won't be easy for the Woman of Steel in the Season 1 finale.
The Flash arrives in National City from an alternate universe. He teams up with Supergirl to battle the villains Livewire and Silver Banshee, in exchange for Supergirl's help finding him a way to return home.
Kara's Thanksgiving may be ruined thanks to a tense visit from her foster mother, who seems to disapprove of her daughter's superhero role. There's also the matter of a volatile CatCo employee being transformed into the villainous Livewire to contend with over the holidays.
Kara's confidence as a superhero is shaky at first, and with good reason. But then a threat to National City forces her to cast her doubts aside in order to capture an escapee from the Kryptonian prison Fort Rozz. Elsewhere, Cat pressures James to use his connection to Superman to land her an interview with his cousin.
