So, name me a few anime that have final episodes so depressing, crappy, or just so crazy and out there that you try to purposely forget it exists (kinda like the epilog of Harry Potter) because it just changes the whole entire feel of the show.
My examples:
Cowboy Bebop
Casshern Sins
Panty and Stocking (even though I liked it, it totally screws with your head and changes the entire way you think of the show)

What the hell are you smoking?!
Anyways...
The original St. Seiya anime had a terrible ending.
I remember being so damn disappointed when I was a kid.

I'm not saying it was terrible as in unwatchable. I'm saying that while some of it was expected, it was very much a fact of "lets see how many people's lives we can change in 30 minutes in as horrific a way possible." XD

The first Negima anime has a pretty bad final episode because of how they had to condense stuff into 26 episodes and the manga was ongoing at the time.
