Just to clarify I am being hypothetical with Apple TV. It does not do games or apps at this time, but a common rumor that makes an awful lot of sense is that a future iOS upgrade will put it in. (The original iPhone didn't run appstore apps until a later upgrade).

As a developer, I am also interested in the system - if it delivers on the promises. Which is why I made the recommendation that I did - they're massively overfunded, so pulling out your funding won't harm them. Then, if it comes out, buy it then. That's what I'll be doing.

If the Ouya delivers exactly what they claim they'll be delivering, I will be telling them to shut up and take my money - but not a moment before.

Understandable. Everything on kickstarter is a risk... all depends on whether or not you're willing to take said risk.

Ouya released an update today.

OnLive is coming to the platform (No surprised there).

They also released more images of the console as well as the full controller.
Of course with the (Still in progress) disclaimer attached.

That d-pad looks kinda horrible.
I like the rest of the design and that they integrated a touchpad.

The D-Pad probably looks horrible because of the patents involved with all the current D-Pads.

Which is something I was afraid of.
